EMA Account Management | Recover your credentials and re-activate your account

EMA Account Management allows you to recover your credentials in a self-service way. You can check here how to:

Recover your username - Forgot Username?
  1. Click on "Forgot Username?" link;
    The link is also available on the login screen of some of the EMA applications.

  2. Enter your email address and click "Submit";
  3. If an account is linked to your email address, you will receive an email with your username;


    Note: Check your spam e-mail folder if you have not received your username reminder. The email subject is "Username Reminder from EMA"
  4. After you click "Submit" a confirmation page is displayed.
    If you do not receive an email with your username, create an EMA Account following the steps described here.
Recover your password - Forgot Password?
  1. Click on the "Forgot Password?" link;
    The link is also available on the login screen of some of the EMA applications.

  2. Enter your username and click "Next";
  3. If an account is linked to your email address, you will receive an email with an one-time token. Insert the token you have received and click “Next”;


    Note: Check your spam e-mail folder if you have not received one-time token. The email subject is "EMA Registration - One-time Token"
    If the token you have received is not working click on "Cancel" and use the "Forgot Password?" functionality again to generate a new token.
  4. Enter a new password and click "Submit";
  5. A confirmation screen is displayed;
  6. A notification is sent to your email when your password reset is completed.
Re-activate your account - Forgot Password?
All EMA accounts are automatically disabled after 6 months of inactivity. Prior to disabling the account, the system sends three reminders to the user (two weeks, one week and one day before the account is disabled).


Once the account is disabled, an additional notification is sent.


To re-activate your account you will need to use the "forgot password?" facility following the steps described here.
By re-setting your password your account will be re-activated and a notification sent to your email address. If you are affiliated to an organisation, your 'User Administrator' will also be notified that your account has been re-activated.
